We have blown apart the typical square-peg-in-round-hole approach to placement, starting with a growing, hand-picked talent bench of best-in-class candidates and connectors in major markets. As opposed to traditional search firm approaches, for example, we abhor job boards. Primarily, we invest in one-on-one conversations with selected professionals on the ground, ensuring we internalize their professional and personal priorities. Only then can we be certain we are recommending the best talent fit for both clients and candidates.

At times, our clients may have a great plan but lack the people needed to execute it. The right solution may involve full-time hiring, part-time contracting, partnering with the client’s recruiting team to vet the best talent option, or a unique hybrid approach. Once we understand a client’s particular skill, culture, competency, and experience needs, we begin by creating a custom map to locate and engage ideal candidates. We will identify, qualify, and place top talent in communications or marketing roles that best meet the needs of both the client and the candidate. Further, when applicable, we employ a panel of CRA leaders with client-specific expertise as an additional filter before top candidates are presented.

Our relationships in major markets and decades of senior corporate communications experience ensure candidates are respectfully referred to us, making them more likely to explore all job possibilities. As a result, our clients can secure top talent who might otherwise never consider the opportunity.

We are comprehensive and flexible, no matter what the talent need. When hiring a full-time employee is not an option, we work with clients to secure CRA-vetted contractors who have passed our test of expertise, experience, and referrals and will fit our client’s culture. Our contractor bench is full of experienced communication professionals with a wide range of specialty skills, including speechwriting, web and graphic design, presentation building, and various types of writing for communication vehicles, among other capabilities.

Ultimately, we advise clients on the communication professionals they should hire, based on their business needs. This includes coaching clients about their current team skills versus needed capabilities, helping them design their communication organization, and advising them on how their communication team requirements can best meet business objectives.
